As a construction Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project planning, coordination, and execution. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards. Your expertise in project management and construction processes will contribute to the successful delivery of impactful projects.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Coordinate with the design team to review and interpret project plans.
  • Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor construction progress and address any deviation from plans with the Project Manager.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets standards.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders.
  • Analyze and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the project manager to meet project milestones and objectives.

Requirements of the job:

  • Bachelor's degree in architectural mechanical or structural engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency and construction software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Five years of glazing, curtain wall, or other building facade experience.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and permits.
  • Experience with engineering coordination and understanding blueprints.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
